Grading and Excavating

Lawn grading and leveling is a process used to create a more even surface in a lawn area.  The goal is to create a surface that is even, level, and free of any trenches, bumps, or other irregularities. The process may involve removing soil, adding soil, and compacting the soil to create a level surface. The process may also involve adjusting the overall grade of the lawn to ensure proper drainage. Trenching is a type of excavating or digging in which trenches are dug into the ground. Trenching is often used for laying pipelines, cables, or drainage systems, or for creating foundations for buildings and other structures. Drainage pipe and French drain installation is done to divert water away from buildings and other structures, prevent flooding, and manage runoff.
